The Drexel University Lockheed Martin Launchpad transformed 2,000 square feet on the first floor of MacAlister Hall into a technology and innovation incubator supporting the longstanding partnership between Drexel and Lockheed Martin. The multipurpose space provides a collaborative setting for students, faculty, and Lockheed Martin employees to connect through experiential learning, research, training, recruiting, and networking opportunities.
The interior renovation created a flexible environment designed to accommodate classes, presentations, meetings, and informal collaboration. The scope included new interior finishes, lighting, and supporting mechanical, electrical, and fire-protection improvements, including updated ductwork, controls, exhaust systems, and air balancing. The project was completed in collaboration with Moto Designshop.
